Sales Development Rep (SDR)

Full Description:

We are looking for a talented sales development professional with a strong desire to be rewarded and recognized for the outcomes they achieve. Are you confident, tenacious, and capable of engaging with key contacts in large organizations? Are you highly organized, and equally comfortable working as an individual contributor, and on a team? Are you skilled at engaging with a variety of personalities with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding goals on a consistent basis? If this describes you, and you’re looking for an opportunity to join a budding sales organization, read on.



  Responsibilities:




  • Educate and qualify prospects within Target Accounts - developing sales-ready leads and opportunities

  • Research organizations and prospects roles to create a penetration strategy

  • Connect with prospects by phone and email - using Salesforce as system of record

  • Drive demand in territory through focused telephone campaigns, custom research, direct mail, and other innovative demand generation activities

  • Address each customer's unique inquiries, while providing them with the proper information and appropriate solution based on the customer's specific needs and interests

  • Develop and revise calling scripts and qualification criteria

  • Timely follow up to inbound website inquiries, marketing qualified leads and referrals

  • Work closely with sales team to identify key players and accounts to develop

  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual quotas



 




  • Requirements:




  • Experience selling and engaging contacts using the phone and email  

  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills

  • Strong listening and communication skills

  • High emotional intelligence

  • Intuitive selling abilities

  • Highly organized

  • Persistent and personable

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent

  • Highly organized – ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.

  Education




  • College degree preferred, but not required
